I’ve also ordered a new 48 spoke 4J spoked wheel for the spare wheel compartment which will be fitted with a 155/15 tyre so it fits properly. These should dress the manifold a bit and they are the correct type rather than the steel ones currently fitted. In addition, I also found the brass manifold nuts I bought at great expense (well, it seemed expensive for a few nuts anyway). This is not a freshly restored car, however it is very solid and corrosion free underneath, and is very presentable. ******* This Triumph is now showing areas of bubbling on the bodywork, and should now be considered as a purchase that will need cosmetics to the body to make perfect. There are many photographs showing the before & after restoration of this car. It received rack and pinion steering and a heater. 2 litres and overdrive on 3rd & 4th was fitted.
